Soap Tray - Spalted Beech

This soap dish is handmade from spalted beech, locally sourced in Yorkshire.

The patterns in the wood is formed naturally as a fallen beech tree begins to break down. By milling and drying the wood at the appropriate time, these patterns are locked in forever.

The 5 grooves allow water to drain from your soap.

It is finished in a water-based polyurethane varnish however long exposure to water may change the look of this natural product.
